Refunds

Monocasts helps you create high-quality audio through advanced AI-powered text-to-speech models. As this technology is still very new, occasional technical inconsistencies may occur. In such cases, we offer an easy way to report the issue and receive compensation.

Credit Refunds Only

We do not offer monetary refunds. If your generated episode contains broken, invalid, or inconsistent audio due to a technical issue, you may request a refund of the character credits used for that generation.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

  1. Tap the three-dot menu next to the episode in your library.
  2. Select "Report".
  3. Choose "Broken content""Invalid or inconsistent audio".
  4. Specify the minute and second where the issue occurs.
  5. Submit your report.

Once received, our team will review the reported issue. If the problem is verified and meets our criteria (see below), your spent characters will be reimbursed.

Eligibility

To qualify for a character refund:

  • The issue must be clearly audible and stem from a rendering bug, misgeneration, or technical failure on our side.
  • The report must be submitted within 7 days of generation.
  • You must indicate a specific timecode to help us locate the issue.

Refunds will not be issued if:

  • The generated audio correctly reflects the input text.
  • The issue is caused by vague, ambiguous, or unsuitable input.
  • The report lacks sufficient detail or falls outside the eligible window.

If approved, credits will be restored to your account within 3–5 business days.
